Bangladesh Het land van de Bengalen
Omschrijving:
Na een snelle vlucht van Amsterdam over stap in XX en dan richting Nieuw Delhi. Ik kwam op de tweede vlucht naast een echte Nederlandse nerd te zitten zo*n jong knaapje die alles al dacht te weten en toen hij van mij hoorde dat het niet mijn eerste bezoek aan India is werden zijn "babbels" al wat minder. In Nieuw Delhi met de ondergrondse richting centrum. Als of er na alle jaren nog niets veranderd was maar daarnaast alsof er nog meer centimeters stof was bij gekomen en alles er nog meer armoediger uit zag. Wel apart dat je overal nog dezelfde mannetjes in de winkeltjes ziet zitten maar dan alleen weer jaren ouder. En dan ook nog herkent worden, hoe is het mogelijk. De eigenaar van Yes PLease Geasthouse is wel nieuw nou ja het is familie en en dat was te zien het is er zowaar schoner maar de vervelende lekkende kraan was s'nachts nou niet echt een topper. Ook de buren die tot ongeveer 03.00 uur de TV op knallen hadden staan was niet meewerkend om zo snel mogelijk van mijn jetlag af te komen.
De volgende dag een tempel bezocht en nog wat toeristische dingen gedaan en daarna hup met de nachttrein richting Caluctta. Ik was wat aan de late kant met het regelen van een treinkaartje maar als derde op de wachtlijst is de kans er altijd dat het scoren van een plekje gaat lukken. Uiteraard is het niethet treinstation in het centrum maar weer ergens anders maar met de metro is alles een stuk gemakkelijker en sneller geworden. Om 20.00 uur moest ik er zijn gelukkig net op tijd dan nog zoeken hoe je vanuit het metro station bij het treinstation kunt komen want dat is niet vanzelf sprekend zoals in Nederland naast elkaar nee je moet weer met een grote U bocht rondlopen. Met mijn rugzak op in stevige pas in de lauwe warmte bezweet aangekomen en vragen naar het platform nummer blijkt er een vertraging van zo'n 4 uur En bedankt. De reden van vertraging krijg je niet te horen wel kon ik al na een halfuur dromen dat spugen op het station niet is toegestaan en toilet gebruik van de trein als deze op het station staat ook niet dit werd ingeveer elke 10 minuten omgeroepen. Toch wel erg fijn dat ik mijn winterjas bij mij had en een goed boek dus de uurtjes vlogen voorbij. Voor het eerst had ik een bed in de airco eerst klas jeetje wat een luxe. Alles is er handdoek, schone lakens en dekens je moet alleen zelf het bed opmaken. Er was weer voldoende te kletsen met de mede passsagiers. Zo leer je nog eens wat, boven de 50 jaar krijg je een beneden bed dan hoef je niet meer te klimmen. Ook India is inmiddels mobiel verslaafd iedereen zit op facebook of belt via Whatsapp. OOk mijn buurman werd rond 03.00 uur lens gebelt maar hij lag vet in coma. Later begreep ik dat zijn familie al uren op zijn aankomst stond te wachten want uiteindelijk kwamen we met een vertraging van maar liefst 9 uur aan in Calcutta. Daar ging mijn plan ipv 18.00 uur was het weer middernacht en dus weer zoeken naar een slaapplek.

Bangladesh Het land van de Bengalen
Omschrijving:
Na een snelle vlucht van Amsterdam over stap in XX en dan richting Nieuw Delhi. Ik kwam op de tweede vlucht naast een echte Nederlandse nerd te zitten zo*n jong knaapje die alles al dacht te weten en toen hij van mij hoorde dat het niet mijn eerste bezoek aan India is werden zijn "babbels" al wat minder. In Nieuw Delhi met de ondergrondse richting centrum. Als of er na alle jaren nog niets veranderd was maar daarnaast alsof er nog meer centimeters stof was bij gekomen en alles er nog meer armoediger uit zag. Wel apart dat je overal nog dezelfde mannetjes in de winkeltjes ziet zitten maar dan alleen weer jaren ouder. En dan ook nog herkent worden, hoe is het mogelijk. De eigenaar van Yes PLease Geasthouse is wel nieuw nou ja het is familie en en dat was te zien het is er zowaar schoner maar de vervelende lekkende kraan was s'nachts nou niet echt een topper. Ook de buren die tot ongeveer 03.00 uur de TV op knallen hadden staan was niet meewerkend om zo snel mogelijk van mijn jetlag af te komen.
De volgende dag een tempel bezocht en nog wat toeristische dingen gedaan en daarna hup met de nachttrein richting Caluctta. Ik was wat aan de late kant met het regelen van een treinkaartje maar als derde op de wachtlijst is de kans er altijd dat het scoren van een plekje gaat lukken. Uiteraard is het niethet treinstation in het centrum maar weer ergens anders maar met de metro is alles een stuk gemakkelijker en sneller geworden. Om 20.00 uur moest ik er zijn gelukkig net op tijd dan nog zoeken hoe je vanuit het metro station bij het treinstation kunt komen want dat is niet vanzelf sprekend zoals in Nederland naast elkaar nee je moet weer met een grote U bocht rondlopen. Met mijn rugzak op in stevige pas in de lauwe warmte bezweet aangekomen en vragen naar het platform nummer blijkt er een vertraging van zo'n 4 uur En bedankt. De reden van vertraging krijg je niet te horen wel kon ik al na een halfuur dromen dat spugen op het station niet is toegestaan en toilet gebruik van de trein als deze op het station staat ook niet dit werd ingeveer elke 10 minuten omgeroepen. Toch wel erg fijn dat ik mijn winterjas bij mij had en een goed boek dus de uurtjes vlogen voorbij. Voor het eerst had ik een bed in de airco eerst klas jeetje wat een luxe. Alles is er handdoek, schone lakens en dekens je moet alleen zelf het bed opmaken. Er was weer voldoende te kletsen met de mede passsagiers. Zo leer je nog eens wat, boven de 50 jaar krijg je een beneden bed dan hoef je niet meer te klimmen. Ook India is inmiddels mobiel verslaafd iedereen zit op facebook of belt via Whatsapp. OOk mijn buurman werd rond 03.00 uur lens gebelt maar hij lag vet in coma. Later begreep ik dat zijn familie al uren op zijn aankomst stond te wachten want uiteindelijk kwamen we met een vertraging van maar liefst 9 uur aan in Calcutta. Daar ging mijn plan ipv 18.00 uur was het weer middernacht en dus weer zoeken naar een slaapplek.

Bangladesh Het land van de Bengalen
Omschrijving:
Na een snelle vlucht van Amsterdam over stap in XX en dan richting Nieuw Delhi. Ik kwam op de tweede vlucht naast een echte Nederlandse nerd te zitten zo*n jong knaapje die alles al dacht te weten en toen hij van mij hoorde dat het niet mijn eerste bezoek aan India is werden zijn "babbels" al wat minder. In Nieuw Delhi met de ondergrondse richting centrum. Als of er na alle jaren nog niets veranderd was maar daarnaast alsof er nog meer centimeters stof was bij gekomen en alles er nog meer armoediger uit zag. Wel apart dat je overal nog dezelfde mannetjes in de winkeltjes ziet zitten maar dan alleen weer jaren ouder. En dan ook nog herkent worden, hoe is het mogelijk. De eigenaar van Yes PLease Geasthouse is wel nieuw nou ja het is familie en en dat was te zien het is er zowaar schoner maar de vervelende lekkende kraan was s'nachts nou niet echt een topper. Ook de buren die tot ongeveer 03.00 uur de TV op knallen hadden staan was niet meewerkend om zo snel mogelijk van mijn jetlag af te komen.
De volgende dag een tempel bezocht en nog wat toeristische dingen gedaan en daarna hup met de nachttrein richting Caluctta. Ik was wat aan de late kant met het regelen van een treinkaartje maar als derde op de wachtlijst is de kans er altijd dat het scoren van een plekje gaat lukken. Uiteraard is het niethet treinstation in het centrum maar weer ergens anders maar met de metro is alles een stuk gemakkelijker en sneller geworden. Om 20.00 uur moest ik er zijn gelukkig net op tijd dan nog zoeken hoe je vanuit het metro station bij het treinstation kunt komen want dat is niet vanzelf sprekend zoals in Nederland naast elkaar nee je moet weer met een grote U bocht rondlopen. Met mijn rugzak op in stevige pas in de lauwe warmte bezweet aangekomen en vragen naar het platform nummer blijkt er een vertraging van zo'n 4 uur En bedankt. De reden van vertraging krijg je niet te horen wel kon ik al na een halfuur dromen dat spugen op het station niet is toegestaan en toilet gebruik van de trein als deze op het station staat ook niet dit werd ingeveer elke 10 minuten omgeroepen. Toch wel erg fijn dat ik mijn winterjas bij mij had en een goed boek dus de uurtjes vlogen voorbij. Voor het eerst had ik een bed in de airco eerst klas jeetje wat een luxe. Alles is er handdoek, schone lakens en dekens je moet alleen zelf het bed opmaken. Er was weer voldoende te kletsen met de mede passsagiers. Zo leer je nog eens wat, boven de 50 jaar krijg je een beneden bed dan hoef je niet meer te klimmen. Ook India is inmiddels mobiel verslaafd iedereen zit op facebook of belt via Whatsapp. OOk mijn buurman werd rond 03.00 uur lens gebelt maar hij lag vet in coma. Later begreep ik dat zijn familie al uren op zijn aankomst stond te wachten want uiteindelijk kwamen we met een vertraging van maar liefst 9 uur aan in Calcutta. Daar ging mijn plan ipv 18.00 uur was het weer middernacht en dus weer zoeken naar een slaapplek.

Bangladesh Het land van de Bengalen
Omschrijving:
Na een snelle vlucht van Amsterdam over stap in XX en dan richting Nieuw Delhi. Ik kwam op de tweede vlucht naast een echte Nederlandse nerd te zitten zo*n jong knaapje die alles al dacht te weten en toen hij van mij hoorde dat het niet mijn eerste bezoek aan India is werden zijn "babbels" al wat minder. In Nieuw Delhi met de ondergrondse richting centrum. Als of er na alle jaren nog niets veranderd was maar daarnaast alsof er nog meer centimeters stof was bij gekomen en alles er nog meer armoediger uit zag. Wel apart dat je overal nog dezelfde mannetjes in de winkeltjes ziet zitten maar dan alleen weer jaren ouder. En dan ook nog herkent worden, hoe is het mogelijk. De eigenaar van Yes PLease Geasthouse is wel nieuw nou ja het is familie en en dat was te zien het is er zowaar schoner maar de vervelende lekkende kraan was s'nachts nou niet echt een topper. Ook de buren die tot ongeveer 03.00 uur de TV op knallen hadden staan was niet meewerkend om zo snel mogelijk van mijn jetlag af te komen.
De volgende dag een tempel bezocht en nog wat toeristische dingen gedaan en daarna hup met de nachttrein richting Caluctta. Ik was wat aan de late kant met het regelen van een treinkaartje maar als derde op de wachtlijst is de kans er altijd dat het scoren van een plekje gaat lukken. Uiteraard is het niethet treinstation in het centrum maar weer ergens anders maar met de metro is alles een stuk gemakkelijker en sneller geworden. Om 20.00 uur moest ik er zijn gelukkig net op tijd dan nog zoeken hoe je vanuit het metro station bij het treinstation kunt komen want dat is niet vanzelf sprekend zoals in Nederland naast elkaar nee je moet weer met een grote U bocht rondlopen. Met mijn rugzak op in stevige pas in de lauwe warmte bezweet aangekomen en vragen naar het platform nummer blijkt er een vertraging van zo'n 4 uur En bedankt. De reden van vertraging krijg je niet te horen wel kon ik al na een halfuur dromen dat spugen op het station niet is toegestaan en toilet gebruik van de trein als deze op het station staat ook niet dit werd ingeveer elke 10 minuten omgeroepen. Toch wel erg fijn dat ik mijn winterjas bij mij had en een goed boek dus de uurtjes vlogen voorbij. Voor het eerst had ik een bed in de airco eerst klas jeetje wat een luxe. Alles is er handdoek, schone lakens en dekens je moet alleen zelf het bed opmaken. Er was weer voldoende te kletsen met de mede passsagiers. Zo leer je nog eens wat, boven de 50 jaar krijg je een beneden bed dan hoef je niet meer te klimmen. Ook India is inmiddels mobiel verslaafd iedereen zit op facebook of belt via Whatsapp. OOk mijn buurman werd rond 03.00 uur lens gebelt maar hij lag vet in coma. Later begreep ik dat zijn familie al uren op zijn aankomst stond te wachten want uiteindelijk kwamen we met een vertraging van maar liefst 9 uur aan in Calcutta. Daar ging mijn plan ipv 18.00 uur was het weer middernacht en dus weer zoeken naar een slaapplek.

[description] => Na een snelle vlucht van Amsterdam over stap in XX en dan richting Nieuw Delhi. Ik kwam op de tweede vlucht naast een echte Nederlandse nerd te zitten zo*n jong knaapje die alles al dacht te weten en toen hij van mij hoorde dat het niet mijn eerste bezoek aan India is werden zijn "babbels" al wat minder. In Nieuw Delhi met de ondergrondse richting centrum. Als of er na alle jaren nog niets veranderd was maar daarnaast alsof er nog meer centimeters stof was bij gekomen en alles er nog meer armoediger uit zag. Wel apart dat je overal nog dezelfde mannetjes in de winkeltjes ziet zitten maar dan alleen weer jaren ouder. En dan ook nog herkent worden, hoe is het mogelijk. De eigenaar van Yes PLease Geasthouse is wel nieuw nou ja het is familie en en dat was te zien het is er zowaar schoner maar de vervelende lekkende kraan was s'nachts nou niet echt een topper. Ook de buren die tot ongeveer 03.00 uur de TV op knallen hadden staan was niet meewerkend om zo snel mogelijk van mijn jetlag af te komen.
De volgende dag een tempel bezocht en nog wat toeristische dingen gedaan en daarna hup met de nachttrein richting Caluctta. Ik was wat aan de late kant met het regelen van een treinkaartje maar als derde op de wachtlijst is de kans er altijd dat het scoren van een plekje gaat lukken. Uiteraard is het niethet treinstation in het centrum maar weer ergens anders maar met de metro is alles een stuk gemakkelijker en sneller geworden. Om 20.00 uur moest ik er zijn gelukkig net op tijd dan nog zoeken hoe je vanuit het metro station bij het treinstation kunt komen want dat is niet vanzelf sprekend zoals in Nederland naast elkaar nee je moet weer met een grote U bocht rondlopen. Met mijn rugzak op in stevige pas in de lauwe warmte bezweet aangekomen en vragen naar het platform nummer blijkt er een vertraging van zo'n 4 uur En bedankt. De reden van vertraging krijg je niet te horen wel kon ik al na een halfuur dromen dat spugen op het station niet is toegestaan en toilet gebruik van de trein als deze op het station staat ook niet dit werd ingeveer elke 10 minuten omgeroepen. Toch wel erg fijn dat ik mijn winterjas bij mij had en een goed boek dus de uurtjes vlogen voorbij. Voor het eerst had ik een bed in de airco eerst klas jeetje wat een luxe. Alles is er handdoek, schone lakens en dekens je moet alleen zelf het bed opmaken. Er was weer voldoende te kletsen met de mede passsagiers. Zo leer je nog eens wat, boven de 50 jaar krijg je een beneden bed dan hoef je niet meer te klimmen. Ook India is inmiddels mobiel verslaafd iedereen zit op facebook of belt via Whatsapp. OOk mijn buurman werd rond 03.00 uur lens gebelt maar hij lag vet in coma. Later begreep ik dat zijn familie al uren op zijn aankomst stond te wachten want uiteindelijk kwamen we met een vertraging van maar liefst 9 uur aan in Calcutta. Daar ging mijn plan ipv 18.00 uur was het weer middernacht en dus weer zoeken naar een slaapplek.
